SOUTH LA - First responders responded to a reported traffic collision with entrapment in South LA Early Saturday morning. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a man trapped in the car with his arm amputated. The intersection of 48th street and Crenshaw were shut down to traffic while authorities searched for the victims arm. it is believed the arm was located approximately 40 minutes after the crash. the man was transported in serious condition. it is unknown if the driver was impaired but it is belived speed was a factor seeing that he crashed into a construction barrier 1,000 feet away from where the vehicle came to a stop destroying a support beam to a billboard.
